Since 2007, I have lived in Oregon with my husband and have found that the Pacific Northwest is an amazing place for photography. In relative close proximity you can shoot stunning coastal, forest, mountain, and desert scenes. Most of my pictures are taken while hiking, so I have numerous landscape photos, but I also like to stop and take pictures of the smaller things around, such as bugs, flowers, and mushrooms. And while I generally don't like carrying or fussing with a tripod, I will use occasionally use one for long exposure and night shots.
